Our Physicians & Service Providers
Dr. Peyman Pahlavan
Dr Pahlavan, MD is a Family Practitioner in Melrose Park, Illinois and has been Practicing in the medical field for over 20 years. He graduated from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago specializing in Internal Medicine. He founded Broadway Medical center in 2006 in Melrose Park and since then has grown to two more locations in Bellwood and Addison.
Dr. Afsoon Karimi
Dr Karimi, MD is a pediatrician in our Bellwood location and has been practicing in the medical field for over 25 years. She graduated in 1995 from Melli University in Tehran and did her Residency in Pediatrics at Cook County Hospital. She also completed fellowship in Child Abuse at John H. Stroger Hospital in 2005. Her passion for children has led her to understand them well and to save them from any abuse.
Dr. Julia McCann
Dr. McCann (DNP, FNP-BC), Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Graduated from Valparaiso university in 2017. Her primary background is in Family Social Services and now is a Family Practitioner at our Addison location. She has done extensive research in alternative therapies in addition to traditional Western medicine.
Nayely Gomez, PA-C
Nayely Gomez, PA-C, certified Physician Associate in Family Practice graduated from Rosalind Franklin University in May 2019 and has been with Broadway Medical since September 2019.
Suketu Patel, FNP-BC
Suketu Patel (FNP-C), Family Nurse Practitioner graduated from Chamberlain University in 2018 and has been with Broadway Medical since 2019. His expertise include adults and pediatrics population. His primary focus include preventative health and routine screening.
Alvina Shaikh, PA-C
Alvina Shaikh, Certified physician assistant (PA-C) graduated from Midwestern University and has been with Broadway Medical since 2019. She provides medical care to both pediatric and adult populations. Her area of expertise includes women’s health and management of chronic medical illness such as diabetes and hypertension. She has also done extensive research in gynecologic malignancies such as breast and ovarian cancers.
Tara Tabbaa, PA-C
Tara Tabbaa, certified physician assistant. Graduated from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio and has been with Broadway Medical Center since 2020. Tara’s passion has always been to manage acute and/or chronic conditions in an underserved community within a diverse range of patient populations. She is grateful for the opportunity to not only help a diverse range of patients - but to be able to form and develop relationships with these individuals.
